It's over... nobody got it right.

    Answer:

British Union of Fascists, Sir Oswald Mosely, Great Britain.

So here's how the "Quiz" bowl works - every while or so, I will ask a question, and the question will be something about history, mathematics (logical mathematics), or science. Your job is to answer the question correctly. Each time you answer a question correctly you will gain a certain amount of points, and those points will be good for something later on that we'll be introducing. Having 10 points will be very, very favorable to you.

    So, here we go.

    Current Question:

    Current Score Board:
    Code:
    Score Board:
    None
    Past Questions:[/b]

time it takes to walk directly to the park : time it takes to get home + [(time it would take to walk to the park+time it takes to get home) divided by 7]

first, add the time it takes to get home plus the time it takes to get to the park from his current location

then divide that number by 7

then add how long it would take to walk home from his current position

that would equal how long it takes to get home and then ride his bike all the way back to the park

the left side is self expanatory...

are we assuming that the 3 points (now, home, park) create one line?

    ratio is

    X : X + (2X/7)

    example

    Park-------------7 miles----------current location--------7 miles------------Home

    Walking Speed = 1 mph

    Walking directly to the park = 7 miles * 1 mph = 7 hours

    Walk then ride = 7 mile walk = 7hrs
ride 7 back then ride 7 to park = (2x/7)hrs

    Works in my head..who knows

you are assuming that he is exactly halfway between the park and his house...it doesnt say where he is exactly so it is impossible to assume that...it says he is a "certain distance"

it's impossible to give an answer without knowing how far he is from either/both places.....
