I am not sure if it is against the rules to make an inquiry about a new forum section but a lot of forums I see have a flame wars section, and it keeps all of the flaming in there, so if you want to cut down on flaming then just place a flame wars section in this forum.
That would be retarded, someone only flames when something says something stupid and/or totally retarded.
That is the point, it is meant as a place for all threads that have a bunch of flaming in them can go.
Unfortunately, it would not work. People have a hard time keeping their flames designated to one particular forum.
i've participated in 2 forums that have done this and although a novel concept - it only perpetuates anger and eventually will spill over into other segments of the forum.

We could also do double post counts in there too so people can flex their e-penis that little bit more.
