Tipping the pizza guy

tip is now "included" in the cost of the pizza though they "encourage" that we tip the driver on top too

tip is customary but its supposed to be a reflection of service received. don't have to tip if the guy is a douche

i view it more as them receiving it than me giving it, y'know?

You get service charged for delivery. They get paid as a driver. You don't have to tip jackshit. Some people have the nerve to ask for tip. I usually use the excuse of more than 30 minutes.

mm usually for delivery they make the price 1 dollar more. then they get paid like 2$ for delivering + there tips. you dont have to tip. i mean there isnt much of a service part to it..rlly just how long it takes.

Yes around here they do have a delivery charge, however tips are pooled together and everyone shares it at the end of the night. Also some/most places here dont cover your gas as a deliveryman, so tipping a little extra helps make it easier for them to drive around all night

I usually get them to the very end of the "Delivery"...I pay for the pizza, close the door, and the guy goes like "errrm ok what a jerk"...He gets in his car and im like oh hey you forgot somthing...And give him like 2-3$.....So he's like o well better than nothing...

I don't tip at all, unless it's a nice restaurant, the service is good and the service is not included. I do not understand why some people expect to be paid above what an unskilled job can expect. If they want more money then they should do something other than delivering pizzas. There are plenty of immigrants who will do a better job without expecting tips.

Sorry for the late reply, I've had a nice 3 day vacation if you catch my drift. Anyway, like I said, I forgot I had that extra 10 in my hand, and I always tip like $5, seeing my brother try to provide for his gf and kids as a delivery guy makes me wanna tip what I can, even if they are a jerk lol. and no I didn't get laid , she looked like a dike anyway :lol:
