K, Well here is my problem..I have this class that I am not very good at...and well I need your help! if anyone has any knowledge of the program called "turing" I would greatly appreciate your help...

K so this is the description for my project:

    Build an eight-bit LED peripheral

    (a) the user inputs any integer between 0 and 255
    (B) the number is displayed on the LEDs.
© The number is displayed on a GUI
    (d) The binary equivalent is displayed on the GUI
    (e) The hexadecimal equivalent is displayed beside the binary equivalent.
    (f) A second number is input and parts (B) through (e) are repeated.
    (g) The sum is displayed and parts (B) through (e) are repeated.

Please help! I really have no Idea what I am doing.

Use standard seven segment displays, then theres various counters u can use ie decade counters or decade/binary u will have to put 220 Ohm resistors in to create a voltage drop.

I've done stuff like that before, but it was with VB and C++ instead of whatever Turing is.

And ya, I believe it's all just coding unless he's sending the data to an actual LED display

Its a really old programmign language that no one uses lol. It was te first language i learned but I forgot it. But i guess it teaches the basic and everything and all languages are the same anyways.

    Festo...do you know VHDL/Verilog?
IF Yes, Did you learn it in 3rd/4th year?
What are the requirements for PEng in England (or whereever you are from)? Just a Ethics tests after 4 years working under a PEng?
