But scamming is hot right now so looking at WU, i need all the info i can get with it.
I live in australia btw
Do i have to be 18+ to recieve or send? how does hte process work? what info i give them? what regulations in place?

Think these 2 things will be usefull for you. I've made once a topic on ranking about WU to help out
And these are the things you need to give to the buyer of ur items1) Speak on msn about the price with the buyer
2) You must give him your name, surname, and complete adress
3) The buyer must go to a bank that's accept WU transferts OR use the website http://www.westernunion.com
4) After the buyer submitted the payment with your infos (name, adress...), he will receive a NCTN Number, he must give it to you to receive the money.
5) Money will be ready in 1 hour maximum. So, after that u must find a bank at your country which accept Western Union.
6) Go at the bank with your Identity Card, the MCTN Number and the first/last name of ur buyer to receive the money.[/b]
To check if your MCTN number is there with ur money, you can click this linkFirst Name:

If you go pick up the money, be sure you do NOT forget ur ID card & MCTN number & First/last name of ur buyer !!!

About country rules, I dont know. Depends on the laws in your country. It depends. If my memory serves me well, in Belgium you have to be 16+. Not sure about that

maybe its differente when u deposit the money than when u receive the money
I did it and i was 16 then.. i didnt look like if i was 18 so it is not a big point here.. And i didnt had to give the buyer all those info's, just your name, and where u live, (country and city) He does give you the number so you can get your money, check if the number is correct on the site and you can check where the closest WU office is @ your place.. thats all i had to do
in the states you have to be 18, not sure about Australia
