I must admit i have never been to sweden, but alas with a population smaller than greater london i doubt many people care what they listen to.

Last time i was in france, the radio played constant british music, and a few french artists sang in english. My point is that eurovision is not a reflection of the music scenes of these countries, it is just used politically so that certain blocs (eastern/scandinavian etc) can vote for each other and vote against countries they dislike.[/b]

Sweden is the third biggest exporter of music in the world(Cheiron, Tambourine studios etc..).

finally some countries are waking up to the fact that eurovision is not only a joke, but it damages the appeal of the european union. Western countries should all leave eurovision until phone ins are regulated. In the UK with have more regulations with phone ins than almost any other country in europe, but recently there was a controversy with programmes cheating. I honestly believe the eurovision votes are rigged by individual countries so that they always vote politically for neighbours.
