I'll have to check my computer, but we saw a crap load of those in Iraq. . and some were HUGE. (technically they're not spiders tho. . . arachnids only have 8 legs) The largest one I found was dead, but with legs spread out, was around 76cm!!(2.5 ft) Ah. . .what a wonderful summer that was. ^_^

yea friend of my bro's said that in Iraq, they caught a prisoner and tied/blindfolded him up and dumped him in a room by himself. At night he was screaming like crazy until he finally shut up. Next morning one of those things was gripped onto his head and had already ate an inch hole through his cheek
