Can't edit topic titles

i can still change the title when editing, but the new title will still not show up.

yup.. thats how vbulletin works.. you can't edit the title.. just the text on the topic..

i think that its impossible.. not sure.. but for now only admins can edit those stuff

u still need to know the vbulltion i guess..

@ step 1, only admin can change it like that

@ step 2, if im not wrong, it works only 1 time or doesn't work at all

1. testuser1 is a Junior Member with less priviledges than u and I was able to do that.
2. It works. Test it, then talk.

i tested step 1 on my topic, didn't work

tested step 2 and when i press edit it shows what i changed but after i press confirm it doesn't change..

he meant like on old ko4life that you could change the tittle any time you wanted....

for example you write S<HB +7 and DS +7 and then you got smite hammer +7 so you edited the tittle... but now can't

You aren't understanding Devile, are you? You CAN change the topic title for up to ONE hour after you make the original topic. After that point, the topic title can only be changed by a moderator or admin.

at the old forum, beside making a new theard only coz you got another item, you could just edit the topic tittle and write there, but now if 1 hour pas, ull have to make new one

That... Is the point.... For right now, that is how the settings are. They might change later, but right now, this is at the bottom of the to-do list (if even important enough to make the to-do list right now).

so add to the to-do list to change the post "cooldown" from 60 to 30 like it was at the old forum ^_^

This is a forum, not a chatbox. The cooldown was 90 seconds, now it's 60. And Editing posts is as long as you want I belive, while topics is set to an hour.

Let us take care of more major issues right now besides for editing a title
