i've noticed some ppl end up in the group banned and some just stay members+ even tho banned does it depend on the ban time / type or how does that work it would be nice to know wat all users get banned which would work if all banned users went into ban group unno if its possible but i think it would be a good idea

Back on phpbb you could suspend or ban a member. on invision it's different and you can only block usernames, emails, ip's or suspend people for x many days. Theres no way to "ban" a user on Invision. So we made that group that has access to no forums as a work around, however people dont get moved into it very often

i think it would be awesome to see them in a group and be able to look at the group on members is it even possible to take all blocked / suspended and put them into the group or when ur in the banned group do u still have access to pms n shit like that

no you cant PM when in the banned usergroup, and theres no way to bring up every member in the suspended status to put them in the banned group

Depends on who banns as well , the admins can change users groups as it done via the acp market mods ect do not have the access to do it.

Technicall there is a quick sql query would do it ^_^

vbulletin is another type of forum board, we were given a full licence for it but it needs Devile to install and move over the data. It's a much more "useable" board.
