Why does ko4life allow cypher ring trades?

We aren't idiots. We understand that probably nobody that is advertising to sell a Cypher Ring is actually selling one. However, due to people wanting it to be opened, we did. Now, the first time we hear of ANYONE getting scammed from a supposed Cypher Ring trade, guess what's going to happen? We'll shut down those too. Then, no character trades of any kind will be allowed.

In addition, if someone admits to not using a Cypher Ring and the person goes ahead with the trade, frankly, they are idiots and whatever happens isn't of our concern. We've made it quite clear that Cypher Rings are the only type of character trades that we allow, so I don't see why there should even be an issue.

Something else i would like to point out to put fear in all those who are liars so the rest of the people can enjoy trading/selling characters. First time i catch you trying to sell a account = 20 day suspension. Second offence = perminant ban.

Asking for a SS is pointless, people wont seal until they have found a buyer. Besides rules have stated that acc trading/selling isnt allowed. If someone is stupid enough to do they trade and get scammed / hacked, its thier fault.

some mod should just borrow someones trustable account and go on a buying spree and anyone offering to sell account and not ring = banned from market simple

See it's called covering our arses. We know most people want to buy and sell accounts. We got sick of all the scamming that was going on. When the countrry restriction came into force we forze account selling. The amount of scammings dropped dramtically. when they allowed regional changes we decide dnot to allow it as it was protecting most of the idiots that buy stuff on the forums.

When Cypher rings came in it's a legitmate way of buying an char, we don't have to worry about scammings and it is risk free. You make the choice to buy with out a ring then you gone against the advise we give and have just assted in a scammer ripping you off. We wont care because you had a perfectly safe method to get that char you wanted but YOU make the choice not too.

It's not our fault the users go against our rules is it. when we find out we inforce a zero tolerance. suprizingly enough very little getting passed on to us. not hard to work out why we do it but then it does take a little bit of thought.

One thing you can do to help us inforce this rule would be to PM us a SS of them telling you that they are selling/trading the account so we can then correct the situation.[/b]
