Med school is the hardest school to get into here , it requires you to be in the top 2% of the psychometric exam ( similar to american SAT's ) , requires you to be in the top 1% of the Bagrut ( similar to american GED's ) , and that's just the first stage. after all that , you need to pass the Mirkam and Mor exams which are pretty much lots of interviews with different people who examine you , and the final stage is an interview with a person like the dean / head of lecturers / something similar.
To get into the clinical years you have to pass the first level of USMLE.
So don't talk to me about competition , I know way better than you what it means because I'm already IN med school , unlike you.
