Question about Char trading

So ive seen people in the market saying for example " trading 80 sham for 80 warr". Now what i want to know is how do people plan on trading chars like this? Do you transfer your char to their account and they do the same? Is it safe?
Help would be appreciated. Thanks

You can only transfer characters between accounts with same last name, you still have to pay tho.
Most of time its just account trading.
But if it's a really nice account u could buy urself a new account with his names, but then you would havee a problem when u get hacked and they want to see ur ID
