Pls specify if it is for PvE or PVP.
PVE
there are only 2 decent pve dagger specs:
mutilate 41/20/0, and combat 15/41/5.
What would you recommend for hard-grind/levelling in terms of specific MH/OH weapons and build? I'm interesting in levelling a rogue to 70 quickly and I would like to know the fastest and most efficient route. I was told swords in both MH and OH and combat spec is the way to go. Any X/X/X suggestion?there are only 2 decent pve dagger specs:

daggers are not good for grinding because mutilate/backstab require hitting from behind which means stunning, and generally killing slower. If people use daggers in PvE its usually for instances and raids where there is a tank holding agro. What would you recommend for hard-grind/levelling in terms of specific MH/OH weapons and build? I would recommend that you go 41 points into combat as soon as you can, making sure to get the key grinding talents: improved slice and dice, precision, improved SS, dual wield spec, blade flurry, AR, aggresion, combat potency and surprise attacks. Sword/Mace/Fist doesn't really matter, just choose sword specialisation if you are using swords etc. Put the rest of your talent points into assassination, get malice, relentless strikes, lethality. Improved eviscerate and murder are subjective, it depends on if you grind more or do instances. Remorseless is good at lower levels, but the dps increase is marginal when fighting tougher mobs.
For a MH weapon, choose something with the highest damage range possible. Ignore DPS. Go with a sword/mace/fist.
For OH weapon, choose something very fast with good stats. The faster your offhand is, the more combat potency procs you will get. You can get fast swords/maces/fists but daggers are also viable in the offhand for the speed.
First detailed reply I got, thanks I can see why daggers would be bad for levelling though, good point, not to mention stabbing high-armoured mobs in outland might not be so clever. Although I'll admit it was really fun being sub/ass build in the 20's practically 2 shotting mobs

Surprised you're grinding as a rogue if you're already in Outlands. Questing alone will get you from 60-70 in 1-2 weeks, as well as 3000g+ if you don't buy anything. I got from 60-70 just doing quests and I still have quests leftover B)
Well, to address that, I'm not already in Outland and I definitely don't grind alone. Proper quest circuit and killing everything on my way I find is the best way to level. I know how to level, I just needed advice on the most efficient route to go about levelling as a rogue.
Outland truly is a marvelous place, there is at least 20-25 extra quests on top of the regular 60-70 trip and at 58 I'm heading there right away.
