Need Help to use Wow program in EU to US servers

well i have a question because , am so interested to play in US servers but, i bougth my wow in spain, and in the box said only to play EU servers , i dont know if i need to do something or change anything to be available to join into the US servers, of course with another cd key, this is not the problem the problem is how to use this wow to be available to join US if anyone know something about thi, pls try to explain me

call wow on eu/us and tell them that you wanna play on us server
then they can maybe transfer or you have to create new char
