Rogue lvl 80 question

Hi i need help
My friend is new in wow and will buy a lvl 80 Rogue.
He want to do alot alot of damage.
What is the best talent for that between : assassination, combat and subtlety.

Also can u refer me the spell that you put your point on on the categorie that you have chosen.

depends, if ur pvp = mut spec or shadow dance
if ur pve = mut spec or combat

either way, both work very well and are situational, go 2 the wow forums and go 2 class realms and look @ the stickys there, they actually do help somewhat with a guide.
