I tried the frots build out and it's giving less than a blood dps spec I found on the site that was linked on the first page.

I've not been doing arena but my 2 friends have moved their chars to the server I am on so maybe some 3v3 action will happen soon.

The problem I find is there are next to no well geared and played DK's for me to compair too. People compliment how I play but it's no different to a warrior dps. Is having a 30% Crit rating good or bad? Is 4300 power good or bad for a DK? If I knew where to improve in my basic stats then I could perfect my enchants and gems. Currently I am leveling BS so I can add extra gems to my armour.

30% crit is great
4300ap is ok if its only with horn of winter
gem +16str in every single socket except for 2 blue ones, put +8str/12stam in those
hit you need like 230 (if you have a draenei in your group) or 263 if you dont
expertise cap is nice but its not required

would link you our guild DKs to look at, but they are primarly tanks not dps, however tjey metioned blood is the best tank/single target DPS specs atm if done properly

I only have 3900 with horn of winter. Compairing my stats to the one of the DK that has been linked my Strength is down which I can make up by getting my BS to 450 for all the extra gems. My hit rating is 275 which is = to 8.75% .

I'll should be able to improve on a fair amount of stuff which will increase my stats too. I'm in a Hero's scourgeborne set which if I can upgrade to a Valourous set would make a massive improvement too.

Seem I'm heading in the right direction with the char. Only thing I noticed different to me from the DK linked was it was in Unholy build compaired to my Blood build. Going to try it out and see if it makes an improvement.

ya its about the only thing i like about dk......all 3 builds have the potential to be excellent in dps, the only thing that matters is the PLAYER...bad rotation/bad timing with rotation=bad dps, no matter the spec

and srsly if ur only in t7 then THATS the problem felix......of course ur not gonna be doing ZOMGAMAZING dps in t7 lol go get t8 and/or ulduar geared then watch ur dps sky rocket......or at the very least get naxx25 gear xD

i dunno why its saying all these things with agil are best dps for dk im guessing for all the crit but i assume if u go with pure agility ull be doing shit dps xD so itd just be a balance of going str and agil among all this gear....but ur gear from what i can tell(if u pve in all this gear im seeing on ur armory now) is whats holding back ur dps a LOT

I have one of the rings you put down , but I had put in a 20hit gem into it rather than a strength one.

The gear I am using in the armoury is my dps set. I have a hatefull glad set for my PvP and I have the belt you get from WG.

REally apriaciate the links buddy as I now know what to start hunting for!

I been doing 10 Naxx today and I&#39;m doing ok but hopfully I can now really move forward this week and get my dps much higher.

Just found out I can now replace GEMS OMG!

I had one of the cloaks you reconmended so I now put that on

I had one ring you reconmended and I just got to change the gem in it.

Chaging alot of my other gems to strength or sterngth+crit to see how that improves.

Just trying to get the other bits that can be crafted

it shows what piece of gear is better, its not the most accurate thing but it does the job

I used the forum you linked to me earlier in the thread and I discovered a very nice Blood build which has by far beaten all the others I been shown over the last few days.

Now I know I can put new gems in my gear I am just sorting it all out so I can then work with what I got and start going for the bits Cama advised me.

If you check the link for me now you&#39;ll notice a big change in gems and unquies. I got the 1st ring done , I got the choaker now I had one of the cloaks you said but I am getting better power and crit with the one I am using.

EJ is pretty much the only place to look at for ways to increase dps, hps, or tps. Those people make long ass formulas and spend hours theorycrafting to get the slightest increase in their role as they can
