CSS - New update

Counter Strike: Source got new update couple of days ago.
The new update contains:

PC Vs. Mac cross-platform play

Player Stats:
"New match and lifetime player stats and summary screens give you insight into how you play. You can tracks your kills, your deaths, and compare yourself against other players. Learn your accuracy with each weapon so no more guessing where you should be spending your money."

Achievements
"Over 140 unique achievements have been added. The achievements cover everything from defusing bombs and winning pistol rounds to dominating your first foe. Can you kill 5 opponents with a blast of C4 to earn the “Clusterstruck” achievement?"

Updated Scoreboard
"Can you earn MVP by getting the most kills or defusing the bomb? Always know who on your team is contributing the most with the end round MVP award. And all your favorite Steam features have been added including avatar pictures, domination icons and more."

More
"A new Death Cam that shows who killed you. The new domination and revenge system makes it personal. We have also included various Source Engine updates, bug fixes, and more."

i hate it tbh,, but I play competitively Css it ruins the Competitive side of the game.. its made to be like that... its not made to be a public game that's why they created Team Fortress 2 and Day of defeat such games. I really hate it it doesn't feel good any more. But ahh well I think it will not be adjust mutch more maybe some little updates may help the scene not sure tho

Yeh I don't like the new update neither.
Player stats and And Achievements are okay and I really like them.
And you can play it now with Mac. = More players Maybeh ?

But theres alot new stuff I don't like.
Updated Scoreboard: I want old back.
Death Cam: U dont really need it for anything.
Domination and revenge system: Just need it to get some achievements.
Source Engine updates: Its okay,BUT
1. My Laptop doesn't run this game smoothly anymore so need to turn on pc for couple of rounds..

2. It made some custom maps look Horrible.

Bug Fixes: Its good that they did fix old bugs, but the new update did bring alot new bugs!

EDIT: I haven't been using custom skins for a long time, but now if you use custom skins and server got sv_pure = 1. You cant play there. I did read that from steam forums.

Not a fan of the new update, there was nothing wrong with the old version. They turned a fun and simple game into an annoyance, if we wanted this style we would play TF2.

it just seems like they seen how much of a hit tf2 was and started implementing it in all their games even DoD.

plus it broke like every modded server lol

can still play matches, hope zblock will come soon and 100tick then it will be alright

same here the old version was better
