just cause i don't sugarcoat my words
it's good..but hard to read "Spartan" so might want to outline it or make it a little more bolder, other then that..nice
to be honest, it looks like you just made a backround and put some text and a image on it.
ya iam kind of noob at photoshop cs2 so i just need good brushes and alot of practice :mellow:
i would make it more like that didnt took the time to cut it out pefect i just used gaussian blur and set the layer to overlay than made the text lil bit bigger
where to start... hmm well first u don't need alot of good brushes..you just need vision..use a concept..not to be rude but all u did was this was take a bunch of brushes and took the renders colors, then made a crappy background and slapped a render on..idk about ko4life people but from an artist point of view it blows. no offense you will get better and u just doing what you know/think you should do..but get out and look at some tuts..work on working with the render to place it in its natural habitat..make actual backgrounds you know?

i still dont know why u hate brushes that much Cava :P
its not just me.. its like everyone who is experienced at gfx hates it.. i mean if u need brushes for a part of sig fine, but not using a brush for the entire background it looks very unorganised.
Cava do u got any dercent tutorial that shows how to make a sig (that u think is cool) step by step? =P
just see the gfx sites i gave out they usualy have good tuts
