And just so you know I've only been doing this for a day, so dont be to hash on me, but I'd love some tips.

try a tutorial

that's about the best advice i can give, you don't start making software before someone explained you how right ? well, it's no different with signatures or most things in life. when you follow a tutorial you will learn certain techniques, learn about how lighting should be done, depth of artwork, and so on ....

a good site to look for some tutorials is planetrenders.net, it's a good site for renders, but they have a lot of tutorials and other things (brush packs, resources packs, ....) on their forum.

text doesnt blend. but looks pretty decent other then that

You need more flow to it. Looks like you just put some random effects on the right side. Also text is REALLY out of place and too plain. However, this sig is somewhat an improvement from your previous 2 sigs.

3rd is a good one too but ya, the text doesnt fit in at all.
