no, really for a first sig its not that bad
read tutorials its the only thing what can help you to improve yourself
only thing what you cant lear from tutorials is composition, this one is not bad but you should choose one thing and make it focal point, here you have 3 focals (face, text and that stripe behind him) so try next time make just one (face more in the moddle, smaller typo and closer to the face and it will be better)
also try to use renders with more action not so static ones
