i'm not a good rater, but there are two huge tips i would like to give you.

    1) make it smaller, it's abit to big to be considered a sig.
    2) follow some tutorials, this is the best way to get to know certain techniques.

I'd rate it a 3/10 probably, and here are the reasons :

    1. Just like evil said, the sig is too big for what it's ment to be. Try making them smaller, 300x110 pixels is a good size for a normal sig.

    2. The croping of the character is not that good. Try using the Extract tool or the Polygonal Lasso to extract the characters from the background.

    3. Usually a sig looks nice if the main render (the character) is blended in the background. You used outer glow with yellow, which doesnt fit at all with the background and it just messes up the render corners (they are supposed to be smooth).

    4. The background and the render it self are way to dark and rather blurry, try to sharpen the render and add a little brightness, as that is the main focal point of a sig.

    5. Try not to use effects like those lines u used in the main render. It does exactly the opposite of what it should do : it makes the render details hard to see wich is what u don't want in a sig.

    6. Try to smudge out the weapons "glow" (pink) and the Pathos gloves glow (yellow-green) so that it blends more into the background.

Anyway, it's a good start, try to follow my tips and please make them smaller

Looking forward to see more from you. Good luck

    That's an improvement

Sig is still big, try 330x110 pixels. And more detail on the character. But the weapon glow looks nice now. Grats

    6/10

most widely used sig standard size ir 450x150 or below
though there is a trend of larger sig these days. But other than a few graphic forums, most admins wont allow larger than the dimensions i mentioned previously
So try to keep it in within that size range
