So hey there

Yesterday i used a hour on making a sig for a friend:




So what do you all think?

sry but i dont think you did much to it. theres almost no background at all, just a solid black with a few blood stains and dots on it. i like the effects on the stock, but thats about all there is to it.

theres a lot more done the background than u give it credit for TBH...a flashy sig isnt always a good sig -_- personally i like it

honestly sorry wind but it isn't something WOW. if u wan an honest rating i can give u a 4/10 but if u wan me to lie n be nice, 5/10

honestly its hard to explain but u should look at some tutorials and try/experiment, don't be afraid of failures because u need them to succeed

i can tel u though... sigs can be done better with different modes of c4d renders(for flow)/smudging(for details)/lighting/blurring(for showing depth). there's also filters in photoshop for experimenting... they're pretty cool but don't use a filter for an entire sig. also make the stock blend in by adding layers under and OVER them so it doesn't look like the stock is pasted on a background.

The render kinda looks a bit pasted, i tryed to fix it :P

The wings i added manually, from a other picture, they look a bit more merged into the image, than the render...

i used alot of effects XD

ok basic graphic terms u should know-

gfx- graphics
renders- pictures without a background
c4drenders- 3d-"objects" created with the program c4d
stock- the render in the tag u're focusing on
tag- another word for sig
flow- the direction the shapes follow.
depth- like u know how sometimes a camera focuses on the background n the foreground is blurred, viceversa? this is depth
lighting- self explanatory

as all of them already said bg is too simple, just normal black, it doesnt need to be flashy but it can be complicated and impressive without being too flashy
make some border. that bevel isnt border :P
