I think the render choices should be narrowed down.

Example:

Instead of Cars, make it specific i.e. Corvette, Ferarri, etc

Instead of Super Heroes, make it specific i.e. Spiderman, Batman, etc

Instead of Extra-terrestrial, make it specific i.e. Aliens, Spacheships, etc

Instead of Hot Girls, make it specific i.e. Hayden Panetierre, Jessica Alba, etc

Just my 2 cents, I'm just an observer here.[/b]

the point is to make topic where u'll alot of freestyle to ppl,don't specify anything...
specified topics are boring u see alot of same sigs,where non-specified themes are much more interesting,
u'll see alot of different sigs and styles

doesnt really show how creative you are, u can just do something you exell at.
wherease specific themes, if you like that paritcular one or not, can show how skilled u aRE, doing different tyhings each time.

hehe, cars was already done a while ago, with some pretty bad results imo :P . and i dont really agree with the idea to completely narrow the renders, part of the cool aspect of SOTW is seeing what everyone thinks of when they see a category and what they do with it. I mean, sure it wouldnt be bad to have a competition where everyone does the same render and seeing what people do with it, but i think it narrows the creativity and you get a lot of look-a-like results :P
