Default firefox in windows 7

ever since i installed windows 7 i've been nonstop googling to find fixes for things that wont work, right now im stuck on this one:

wowhead doesnt load properly, the dropdown's dont show, as well as other text links. this is the only site so far i've come across that hasnt loaded properly (wowarmory was doing the same thing but it magically fixed itself)
it does the same thing in IE, but if i click the compatibility mode button it fixes itself

hoping someone else had a problem loading certain websites when they installed windows 7 and found what the problem was

Google chrome is the most used now i think i went searching in google search engine for the #1 browser that people are using. its a close race between google and firefox.
