i gave up my mage and upgraded complete set, staff and one ib

7 parts +1 rb
4 parts +2 rb
1 part +3 rb

Made a galve +9 reb, from 5 too 9, used tears, gogogogo 11 reb h34r:

a few times i made +4 reb and allways burn to +5 xD w/o tears ofc,the worst was make to +2 laster was easier dunno how its now when anvil is the most gayest in whole history of ko^^

all i did is make my shard +7/83 rebirth thats all i never made +1> +5 reb

nd my experience = ALWAYS USE TEARS WITH UPGRADING
it's like you're upgrading a +7 item to +8 without trina, what do you expect lol ?
get a cheap tear and go for it if you're upgrading via rebirth system
