because u can only out-pot so much damage on a mage, since no heals... so even with lots of hp bonus, it wont be as good as weapon defences or high ac

some mages just hide behind. and tp/slow, do the occasional stun.

EP would be better in those cases.

but if ur a mage that's gonna be in the mist of the action. take the IN. coz u can only out pot so much damge. and the wep def owns the hp bonuses.

Good mages dont outpot much, they outgun.

For a mage with complete's/crimson I'd choose EP+2 if I had Iron belt and other descent jewerly.
IN for paper/semi paper/crystal...
