Not very many good action movies out recently, so I figure im going to give this one a watch. May be good but also may be really bad so who knows, ive seen some of the best and the very worst movies from Keanu Reaves. <- Hope I spelled his name right >.<.

i saw about half of the original version, pretty good considering the time period and all, idn, remakes often fail like nothing else has ever failed before, though once in a while, remakes can be EPIC, a couple or so actually outdo their originals, i just hope they dont butcher the movie

movie was good, it was sorta &#39;the day after tomorow&#39; mixed with &#39;war of the worlds&#39;
the acting was VERY bland (you know how keanu is)
and jennifer connely&#39;s acting has always sucked, if she wasn&#39;t pretty she would never get movie roles

nothing spectalur... just an ordinary sci fi film. Keanu reeves is basically an emotionless character, earth is bout to be fucked... pretty easy to figure out the plot...

[spoiler]keanu plays a sort of silver surfer type character from the fantastic four series... he is there to destroy earth, but ends up saving it because he changed his mind thanks to the humans .... you know how it works with these kind of films.. lol a lot of this movie reminded me of the silver surfer plot... earth about to be fucked by an unstoppable force... except by the main character(keanu)[/spoiler]
