u cannot advise these movies cuz lotr is trilogy movie and 300 is single movie, u can compare movies like > lotr vs matrix, trilogy vs trilogy, single / single :>
but if i must choice in those possibilities i choose lotr

i find lotr movies really long and boring. They changed so many things and it just got boring. I rather 300 :P

LOTR 1/2/3 all was nice... but you know the next movie....

this is the first 300 movie... if there is 300 II I expect him to be much less better than the current one.

not to mention return of the king is one of the 3 most money grossing films of all times with the others being titanic and pirates of carribean 2
