You don't sign up. You go to a game store and preorder the game and they should give you the beta cd.

Yeah you have to go to Gamestop, but it's not a CD they give u a key or code i forgot so u can download it off xboxlive

I played the beta and i must say im very disappointed, i had hoped that they would have atleast used the same lvl of graphics as cod4 had... But no, it seems like they went back and took CoD2 gfx and tweaked it a bit. Also the whole driving a tank part sucks, it has silly sound effects (doesnt even sound like a tank)

Because they do, if you've tried Cod4 then play Cod5... Then you should be able to see that the gfx blows in cod5

i heard about the kid that ran away from home in Canada because he was playing 2 much COD and his grades dropped and his father took him Xbox away so then he ran away from home and now Microsoft is offering $25k for anyone who can give leads on him. Who would have thought people would take a game so seriously.

Havent been able to connect to the online part yet... only tried it over lan it wont authenticate to inet for some odd reason...

cod4 and 5 is run on the same engine
i played both a lot, grapics are same/ better in cod5 (xbox)
