[SONY] Compatability Question

Is Final Fantasy VII-XII compatable with the PS3? I'm trying to figure out if i should get the PS2 instead if those games won't work with the PS3

they all work on my PS3 ive been playing FF8 the past few days w/ no problems whatsoever

i also have the 60GB HD version which i got when they were first released cause if i remember it depends on the PS3 version you get? but im not personally sure about that :<

MGS / Motorstorm 80GB Bundle has 90% backward compatability

any other (40GB / normal 80GB / 160GB won&#39;t work)

just get a ps2 it is so cheap
