Possible FF7 remake?

Square Enix launched a teaser site that has a countdown timer and it started with the roman numeral VII... I have heard some other possible speculation, but a FF7 remake would be awesome!!!!

starting from VII doesnt mean much, it's not at IV (4) and 9 hours to go. It's most likely a DS release, not a console release

I can't remember what year that trailer was released, but it's been quite a while now....point is Sony and Square-Enix are going to hype this up as much as they can, then either blow our minds away or piss us off like never before.

A FF7 remake would be absolutely amazing!! that is by far one of my favorite games and it would be even more exciting if it happened considering i can't get my first disc to work .

Yea, i seen that too, they said they want the original people who did FF7 to complete their current projects and then maybe work on a remake off FF7.. I can also imagine how much money they would make on a FF7 remake considering it's one of the most popular games of all time.. They are probably thinking the same thing lol..

I'd love to see a remake of it, I'm a fan of every single FF game, i've played until now (that goes from I to X-2 except II and III/VI). I just couldn't choose a favourite one, because i love all of them for different reasons.

hopefully if they do remake ff7 they keep it EXACTLY how it is! i loved the turn based system! not this run around and hit shit they had in crisi coree...
