    EDIT: http://www.speedyshare.com/693158878.html

Since stupid Rapidshare will only allow 10 people to download it, i uploaded it 3 times - each of the links contain the same file.

Be honest, all feedback is welcome, but constructive criticism please =]

    Thanks.

Also, if anyone has used this program alot/is an expert on it, any tips would be appreciated; can post here or get in touch via PM.

I generally dislike FL butits good as a start.
as for the track, I like the simplicity in it but somethings could make it better. I miss a fatter bassline if u know what I mean. the drumline is steady and simple, I like it. maybe have more chords to base the melody on, it get a little too repetitive for me.

its a good beat, put in a fatter bassline and maybe have something in the low background covering the empty spots.

    Yours Sincerely

how was I flaming him? I said srry so stfu. If there was constructive crticism to give I would but this beat is a lost cause /failure.

Whether you like or dislike the beat is a personal preference. Whats the point in saying you don't like it when your not even saying why?

I think its because i'm not used to the program yet. I agree it doesn't sound very proffesional, which is why i came on here to ask for opinions. I don't know what it is but it just sounds off. Maybe once i understand the program better i can change that.

u can start to use some good vst's, that way, u wont get the analog sound on it.
if u are into hip hop and r&b, maybe use more strings and bass with the drums.
are u into more trance and techno, start with a bassline on the metronome and work ur way from there.

hope this helps, and remember. there is no exact rules on making music, u listen to it and u'll know when it feels right.

Just Pm me with any questions regarding feedback on ur projects or questions about music in general.

TBH im into most types of music, but primarily Hip Hop/R&B/dance. I'm still trying to find the right instruments to use - there are quite a few its difficult to pick the right one, and each one seems to fit differently to different tunes.

I'm finding it hard to figure out where to start when i make a new beat tho. At the moment what im doing is thinking up a tune, putting it into FL and then working on a beat + finding an instrument for it from there. Its difficult really.

    Also, VST?

yea, I understand what u mean. I havent made much hip hop music, but usually its just like u explained. u find a melody, and then make a drumtrack and bassline on top of it. after that u can add chords that match the chord progression of the melody.

about vst or vsti, basicly its a virtual instrument being played by a midi keyboard or a DAW(digital audio workstation) i.e FL,cubase, sonar etc. its a high quality intrument witch sounds 10x better than the sounds u can make in the DAW's.
there are many types of vst's, drums, guitars, strings, pianos etc. some are free and some aren't.
