The longer you wait the less people you will probably get as the new yourko server is coming out like a week after yours and if people arent settled in to your server they might leave to go play there as it will have about 3000 turks to kill daily.

At the same time, the problem with doing that is you'll have some people that won't realise that it's being released sooner than was originally stated, and will potentially miss launch. Launching it later, on the other hand, isn't so much an issue in that regard, because nobody else has started before them (oh the horror!).

... in theory, anyway. In reality, anything could happen. Who knows. *shrug*

Which isn't to say I disagree with you, just pointing out it isn't necessarily a perfect solution for everyone. :/

Thats what we are trying to tell. Also this delay will give us the amount of time to advertise the server properly, since we are working people with normal lives. so time is necessary

Worth a shot, server looks nice but, i catch myself saying this alot, it has been years since a ko-priv-server launched and stayed up entertaining/keeping it fair for all, for longer than 2 months atleast. It is HARD work to maintain a big player-base that keeps returning.


Time equals everything when it comes to running a priv server. It seems as if lately the people coming to play new servers, cares more about it then the people launching it.
Post-forward the release long as you need, make sure every faking thing is working, 1 flaw = server could be done. People think releasing a server means leaning back and watching the numbers on your bank account raise.
No. The real work starts the second the server goes official, from that second every action taken has relevance for how the server developes.
