Yeah, instal win 8 or 10. If pc is weak and thats why you have fps problems, update your hardware.

I thought I give KO a try after 7 years of absence and this is what happens the first day .





Btw this server has the configuration that we'd kill long time ago. All quests are automatized and with rofd files and old moradon, very nice server.

I know Im playing on a laptop with a shitty iGPU,but the cpu is pretty good 4570R 4c/4t which runs at 3ghz pretty much all the time,and I got 8GB DDR3 RAM,but you client runs fine and then just freezes for 10 seconds,and then again like that for few minutes.Playing with fine and then just freezes. I played every other server just fine,even official KO,hell even dota 2 runs at 100+ fps,same with CSGO. I dont understand why,anyone got any ideas ? I tried setting priority for KO to high but still the same.

Your CPU doesn't matter if you do not have sufficient GPU to back it up, integrated graphics won't cut it here sadly, you are probably fine for the most part untill the intensive PK/gameplay occurs with a lot shinny effects. You can try lower your settings in Option.exe however, that will surely boost the FPS performance.

I think i found what was the issue...this win10 defender. Every time I was running KO it started running as well with crazy CPU usage,like 50-60% just by itself...so I disabled it and everything is fine,no more freezes.
