I figure it would be around 20-25 gb.

Assume the price of +8 g1 armor is around 0.5 gb, and 2 gb for trina pieces. You will need about 5 of each to make it to +9. Add some money for profit and there you are. You could also try to buy 40 +8 g1 and try upgrading to +9 without a trina, but the cost would be about the same and I don't think you could purchase anywhere near enough +8 armor anyway.
