i used to use helenid+7, got bored then went sin. Used my daggers but then i borrowed polen's +8 ib.


after reskilling back to sin and ever1 towning all the time, i decided to up my ex. ib+7.

i now use:


i get 2670 ap with AP gears (dex armors+dex sc) and 2374 with Iron set +dex sc at level 75.

EE bonus easy make it second best bow ap isnt everything

helenid is ok but how many people really pk with echanted anyway i know i do but most time i cant even find them anymore so EE all the way

I have to say Helenid 8 then EE 8 w/o WE Helenid still hits for more in general with the Ice Dmg in PK but with WE its the best PK Bow from the list...for EXP there is no better bow then the EE 8 so all around, that is the best bow if you can only afford one...

I would use helenid, BOP, Eagle Eye, Exceptional IronBow, IronBow, EnionBow, ChitinBow, ScorpionBow, in that order. Currently I have a +7 RB iron bow, 2 exceptional IronBows +8, EnionBow +8, IronBow +8, ChitinBow+8, and a ScorpionBow +8. Between me and Liquidgel we have done a bunch of tinkering and other than never having a BOP+8 or an Eagle Eye to compare with, we have tested all other +8 bows. Before anyone from Ares says anything, of all those bows I have I dont use any of them for PK...think Cap said the bow I currently use...142 AP Horncross +10 and with weapon enchants I will take the crappy look for the higher AP :P

2nd it's hp/mp bonusus matches BOP. depending on lvl
3rd it's resis is better then BOP, except in LR.
4th it has 7sw, although not many, there are still players out there that uses sword.
5th which is the only reason i take it over BOP, is it's str bonus. all pro archer would know the wonder that styx do. and the extra str allows you to carry more.

so EE > BOP > Heliend

Weapon Enhance = +5 Ap to your current right handed weapon and it does not get effected by a rogues wolf skill or attack scrolls. Its almost like having an extra 4 ap on your weapon when your wolfed/scrolled.

Helenid+8 = 135 AP (Enhance)
Horn xBow+10 = 147 AP (Enhance)
