My personal opinion is kinda similar, but I think SS is not good for its AC but for its resistance...has almost 50 to everything at +7, so could be taken for an Anti-Magic Shield, which is good since now mages seem to hit harder (some novas)...besides, ANY extra ICE Res is useful now since icing is almost 100%...for me this would be the order:

1. Chitin Shield
2. Personal Shield (if 70-, Dread Shield and viceversa)
3. Defender of the Lord
4. Scorpion Shield
5. Syphioric[/b]

don't know what a dread shield has on it, hence can't rate it. Who really cares about it it probably has a high str requirement of over a hundred which means that a chitin build priest can't use it anyway.

i have some of them but i only use the CS and SS does are the best!
about dread or DOL i prefer to use a DD40 or even 32 over bought of them ^^

BTW: for me the best looking shield would be the Personal one...the Dread Shield goes second -_-

(can use personal here is u dont have a cs)

cs+7 with lycaon hammer+7
and an iron set

u dont need another sheild then

unless u wanna tank tk/talos then a dred is nice
