Buying/Selling with steam codes safe?

So anyone know/have experience trading with steam codes? Alot of guys recently want to trade with steam codes. It's probably safer than paypal, but I'm not sure about what can be done in terms of scamming through steam support etc. It's pretty safe?

same as trading with esn codes. always a chance the code has already been used. make sure you trade and sell with trusted people.

This, it's literally the exact same, there's no difference other than the name of the company selling the code.

Yeah I'm a seller so I don't go first :P

I'm talking about getting the code, using it, making the trade... and then afterwards getting scammed.

What's the risk then? because in that case you're the only one who could be the scammer hence he can't know the code before you copy-paste it?

i mean sill yeah with charge backs and what not. ive sold a couple steam codes and didnt have a problem on the steam end. like the dude above me said they cant really scam you aside from charge backs though paypal.
