Thought it had something do with upgrade but i cant use it for upgrading or compounding anything...

You're not alone, seems to be from a recent patch since the earliest thing I could find about it was from the 25th of sept.

I think it's just the nttgame developers forgetting to take something out after testing it..

From this assumption, we can infer two things... ntt game has lazy developers.. and said lazy developers are working on new features for the anvil.
