I can never run/walk up stairs...

Unable to run/walk up almost any stairs except mora. It's awful in Juraid and in some places of CZ.

I have tried using auto run and walking forwards and backwards.

Is there anything I can do. Is it because I'm constantly at 250+ fps?

I just start glitching through the first step and get stuck, very frustrating.

I got this issue for over 13 years now.

For me it helps if I spam "M" to open map or something els that drop my fps while i try to run up stairs im stuck on. Its because you have too high fps, but if you are constantly at 250fps and can't make it drop I don't really know :/

This is exactly the reason. I've found the game behaves best at around 90 FPS. Above that it starts to glitch out with its movement predictions (placing you under the stairs instead of on top of them).

it is because your computer is too fast, i read it has something to do with the way they designed it for low fps which took advantages of some graphical loopholes.
Anyways, the best way to fix it is to manually slow your fps down, this can be down by spamming your u+i+k keys really fast, (u= char info, i=inventory,k=skills) . Do this while trying
to walk up the stairs

When you use the "click here when characters get stuck" button, press also the W button on your keyboard. Don't hold down the W button, press it repeatedly until you can get across the stairs.
