Nah, I didn't burn going to +4, I have however burned 3 or 4 thing with trina going to +6. I may faintly remember burning a item going +5 with trina but I can't be certain. Either way, I just had bad luck on +6 and +5 I can't confirm.

Trinas are in the database just like any other scroll. They increase the %age of the upgrade. The only way you will notice a bug with them is if they had been changed in the db and the server would require a restart for it to be put in effect.
