Xigenon, Remembering the Old Days

I used to have a Warrior called GaryG on Xigenon a long time ago, not sure if anyone who was playing around then would remember me? My memory isn't the greatest but I believe I started playing KO when Xigenon first started until around 2006/2007. Anyway I was just curious as to how the game has changed in the past 10 years? Does anyone who played back then still play now, I can't imagine there would be many?

Looking at some old videos on Youtube brings back some good memories. The game definitely had it's flaws, with all the cheating going on, but it sure was addictive. I used to love doing the clan stuff like pvping, holding/attacking the castle and the wars they used to have. I doubt I would ever play the game again, and if I did it would just be the odd go for nostalgic reasons, but I'm still curious as to how it's developed over the years.

On a unrelated but very sad note, does anyone remember a guy called Goust_dead_evil_II (Gousty)? While browsing through very old posts on Knightonlineranking (a now dead forum I used to visit) I seen someone mention he died in 2009, they didn't say any more than that though. Hope someone can tell me that simply isn't true?

Ah shit, really? What happened? Sad to hear that, I was shocked when I read it on another forum.

BluePrint - The name HunterMark rings a bell yeah, how is the game these days? I actually downloaded the game and briefly logged on last night and I must say, the graphics were terrible. I can't remember them ever being that bad haha. Perhaps I just thought they were ok at the time but of course, 10 years has passed since and it looks like they haven't updated at all.

Deuxvn - I did sell my account so you never know haha.

yep still playing, sometimes with huge gaps but still. I just like simplicity of KO PvP too much. Tried a lot different MMO games and yet non stopped me for longer that few months. I never liked WoW, well maby except this :

Me killing boss in eslant. At those times, warriors were best to kill bosses. If i am not wrong, bosses have more magic resistance and less defence at those times.

Who am I?
ANIL87 from SELKAR clan in xig between at 2005-2007. I was also active in invasionfree forums. I dont know anyone remembers it or not.
exarkun87 from Playhard clan in Stko Cypher at 2016.
Now i'm just playing pvp on apexko. Stko had a good chance to bring old players (like me, returned to ko after 10 years just beacuse of steam) back but they missed the chance beacuse of the bad decisions and management.

I've never seen that 'Who's the Tank' video, classic!

I have no idea when I started playing, anyone know when the Xig server opened? I'm sure I remember playing when I was in the last year of 6th form at school, which would have been in 2002. I didn't think I played the game for roughly 5 years though?

USKO hadn't released in 2002. USKO released in 2004-2005 and Xigenon was probably opened either end of 2005 or early 2006.
