Computer wont start up

Alright so last night i was rendering a video in sony vegas. Anybody who makes vids with vegas knows that it takes a lot of RAM. anyways i was rendering a vid and my computer was making a loud noise and then fan was on and everything. after the vid was done i shut the comp off and went to bed and woke up next day and when i tryed to start it up it freezes. now it only works in safe mode. Im thinking my harddrive couldve overheated or something :S anyone know any solutions cause i really dont wanna take it to a PC shop and have some douchebag fix it for like 200$ and charge me for all this shit i dont want, and look through all my PRONZZZZZZZZZZZ (lol jokes)
