FTPopen file error PLZ HELP GUYS

ok i have 2 cpus that play this game 1 is fine the other isnt i have unistalled and reinstalled the game from diff places and still i get the same message the updater will pop up and than it will pop up and say ftp open file error than i click ok and it wont do anything if u click ok so what i did was i sent the whole game folder from the working cpu to a thumb drive and put it on the non working cpu and it still wont work which already has the active updates so what do i do guys ?
