The tutorial is amazing. I learned so much from it and I can proudly say that I created my own sig in about 30 minutes. ^_^ Thanks a lot for the guide Daz.
I have a question though. I noticed you saved the file as PNG. When you save your file as PNG do you interlace it or not? I didn't save it yet because I'm not sure what interlacing does and I thought I'd find out before I mess it up.
never bothered messing with that stuff
I found out that: PNG interlacing begins by only reading a small percentage of all the data and filling in the empty spaces with an interpolated color value. For every time step, more information is rendered, replacing the "in-between" interpolated colors with the real colors until finally all the data is loaded and rendered. Meaning you can see pieces of the image bit-by-bit while it loads.
