My random fact of the day:

Did you know that Ba'al one of the main gods worshiped mainly by the Babylonians? The Babylonians made a pole to represent him. Now why would they do that you are asking yourself? Good question. Ba'al was one of the main god's of the Babylonians because they believed he was the god of the harvest (among many other things). They believed once a year he would come down from the heavens to earth and have sex with the ground which would fertilize the crops. Hence why they made a pole to represent him because they worshiped his penis.
