Rofl. Once again, not sure what you&#39;re talking about. I have no trouble killing lvl 80 rogues, lvl 80 mages, and 80 priests don&#39;t need to die, i just need to stop them from healing their party. That being said, with my aztek gold faun, many times I am able to get them to kill themselves. My only trouble is lvl 80+ warriors, which even if I was full MP fire they&#39;d still roll over me. At least with my build I&#39;m able to throw mana shield on and get away.

PS: I only do about 200 less damage to people with ELY 8, compared to when I was fire with HB8.

AND WTF? Builds that make your character look better then what it is? Are you stupid? Your build is half of your character. You really think that if I used complete +8 instead of crystal 9 I&#39;d not look better then what I actually am.[/b]

well first off all an 80 fire mage rolls any class other than bp with similar gear. light mages are good too but good luck killing anyone decently geared with 174 mp. You might be able to kill random noobs with that but i&#39;m willing to bet some of the better geared players could outpot your damage with the new pots. I couldn&#39;t see your mage being anything other than support. 200 less damage is lot when it adds up you know... Anyway. When i say builds that make your char look better than it actually is i mean your stat points, not your armor. You pumped hp so now your mage has above average hp but when it really comes down to it it&#39;s not worth it because you could&#39;ve just put 91 into str, bought a gab and doubled your survivability while still having about 200 points on mp so you&#39;d deal solid damage. AC and wep def > hp any day.

I think you havent plaid mages that much, fire mage can do serious damage with his skills. Not everything is staffing, and that light mage looks fantastic amazing. I love full support mages but some of this builds are more usefull in some situations, and gives the player the ability to be versatile and switch acording to what the situation needs you to do.[/b]

I&#39;ve played mage a little more than you think. Come to girakon and you&#39;ll find out the hard way. If you know how to play mage you don&#39;t need a ton of hp or ac to be support. One of the best support mages i know is paper so that just goes to show its not about stats its about skill. It shows now because either of those mages seemed to have found the secret to making np.
