You have to have some basic knowledge of photoshop before you attempt to use his movie. Like a basic understanding of layers, brushes, smudges and all that shit. Once you know that, its just a matter of following what he does, and just keep repeating the movie until you get it the way you want.

That's probably why I didn't really understand it. I have no knowledge of Photoshop at all.

i got a prob...

i can't use the "scatter" features when i edit my brushes...
tryed almost every basic brush there is, and doesn't work for any.

my PS version is 7.0 in case it matters.. any clue how to enable that brush feature?
