give me some software to "record windows" so I can show you on video how easy it is to make that symbols

Ok so i take my image, right now it has a black background. MAde an alpha 1 layer, whited out the part that i want to keep, blackened the part i want to stay transparent.

IF all thats correct, then my error must be in saving it. I save it as a targa file in ko folder, then go in and rename it as symbol.bmp? When i do that it actually goes symbol.tga.bmp. What am i doing wrong?

Zabekai, there should be only 1 layer - with your logo ... don't add any more layers .......... you have to edit channels ... there are 3 primary colour channels ... Red Green Blue (RGB) ... and you add "Alpha 1" channel


I don't know what you are doing later with that file, because my english sucks ... but you can't have "symbol.tga.bmp" ... you save your image in photoshop as targa file ... you recieve file.tga for example ... than you rename it for "symbol.bmp" and you paste it to "symbol_us" directory



btw ... if you don't have file extension visible in your MS Windows, you have to set it somewhere in Folder Options

i dont want to sound ungratefull but the image was to big and i couldnt re-size it... i dont have the right photoshop to make it could you do it for me again please??

ok i downloaded many in this forum just to see if it was the one i was trying or all of them. its all of them, i dont understand what im doing wrong. i download and save tara file to pc. rename it symbol.bmp and place in symbol_us file inside ko folder. when i do this and goto change symbol nothing shows up in the symbol box at all. nothing shows up after i apply it either. for alll of the downloads. what am i doing wrong?

bigdady8100, just find better logo ... something what would look good at 32x32 resolution i would resize that skull same as you did it ..
