USC was the better team by far that year. Only loss by like 3 or 4 ~_~ Damn Vince Young, QB running T_T cheappppppp. Also their was some videos that show the refs were on Texas side. Umm aparently you suck with football archives, since the year that Texas beat USC in the rose bowl, both teams went into the title game undefeated.......and then vince young ran the scoring TD after bowling threw like 3 USC players....

Been loving USC since 98 and been to about 8 games of USC. Its simple, USC is that damn good with the best coach in college history. And best players. Popularity has nothing to do with it. Look at michigan, just 1 loss and went from #5 to off the poll
